Did You Miss Me? That's what almost EVERY girlfriend said when they were gone for even ONE day! "Did you miss me?"
I am so sorry that I missed my Monday deadline to publish this week's Newsletter. Many of you know that I recently added a new job, tutoring elementary kids on weekday mornings, to my list of weekly duties. This week, I have also been working with a colleague on a charity event scheduled for Saturday. There are many moving parts, and we have been burning the Sunday and afternoon oil to get things ready. The work has drained me.
This week, I choose the arms of Morpheus over getting up early to write the Newsletter. I believe I may have now "caught up" on my sorely needed "beauty rest". I was quite embarrassed that I hadn't met the deadline, but so very pleased that Mark Compton called to check on me and see if I was OK. Thanks, Mark, for being concerned and for being a good friend!
I apologize to all, but after 354 issues, I thought I needed a break, so I took one. Here's hoping I can stay on track in the weeks to come. Thanks for your patience and readership!

From the A to Z Blog Site
It all began with a post from Saturday March 27, 2010 when Arlee Bird set forth a challenge to all bloggers for the month of April. Can you post every day except Sundays during this month? And to up the bar, can you blog thematically from A to Z?
Most of the time if you subtract Sundays from April, you then have 26 days--one day for each letter of the alphabet. When April 1st lands on a Sunday you begin on that day which will be the only Sunday you would post during that month's challenge.
Using this premise, you would start beginning April First with a topic themed on something with the letterA, then on April second another topic with the letter B as the theme, and so on until you finish on April thirtieth with the theme based on the letter Z. It doesn't even have to be a word--it can be a proper noun, the letter used as a symbol, or the letter itself. The theme of the day is the letter scheduled for that day.
