Tucson Storytellers is a part of the Storytellers Project, which is a series of live storytelling nights. USA TODAY NETWORK newsrooms curate and host night of true, first-person stories from neighbors and notables in our community. This night is produced in partnership with Startup Tucson

LOVE HURTS: Prepare a five-minute tale about a love that made you go OUCH. The agony of deferred love! The misery of good love, gone bad! The anguish of one-way love! Bring stories of your heart, kicked to the curb by the people or places or things you love...or used to love. Love that "Hurts So Good" also welcome.
Put your name in the hat, ten tellers will be selected.

March 2, 2109 we return to the relocated Unscrewed Theater, 4500 E Speedway, Suite #39, for a program of Southwestern stories at our monthly meeting. Come to listen or bring a story to tell. $5.00 donation for non-members.
What Might Have Been There have been some posts of late on Facebook regarding the lives we might have lived. What would they have been like? What would we have done, if we had turned to the left instead of the right, just at that moment?
Gwyneth Paltrow starred in a movie called "Sliding Doors" that used that premise. Some years ago, LynnAnn Wojciechowicz told a story at a guild meeting. Not a "true" story, but one about how she "hoped" things had turned out in her family. It was quite compelling.
These types of stories are "fantasy", of course. But they can be quite good stories, and are considered "kosher" as long as he teller lets the audience know the nature of the tale you have crafted. Make sure you don't leave out this IMPORTANT part.
